i wrote letters to people i owed money too months ago asking to if i could pay back so much a month and stupid as it is i never kept up with what i said i would do nd since then i had letters saying they wanted all there money as never paid i really can't believe how stupid i was.
the thing is i want to write letters to them again saying i'm sorry and would like to start paying so much back a month again and keep to it.

Don't get stuck on beating yourself up too much but you do need to take control of this before the people that lent you money do, yes you screwed up but it is all in the recovery now.
I would suggest that you go to one of the not for profit advice charities, they can do all the negotiations on your behalf and then you pay them one amount each month.
Here is a list of the people that won't charge you for their services, if you already used one and messed up with them then try another
