  • Hello, I'm up to 5 NSDs so not feeling so despondent now, but still have 13 to go . I've started keeping a list of stuff I need to spend on so I can do it all in one day next week.

  • Well, pleased to say Saturday was a NSD for me! Spent the day moving my boyfriend from Aberdeen to Glasgow (whoo hoo!) and since I was organised with the packed lunches, we didn't spend anything through the day. Then at night, expected to spend a fair bit as we were out for dinner - but since his parentals were with us - they very kindly picked up the tab!! :money:

So that takes me to 5!! Only 15 more to go to reach target, hhhhmmmm........

Have just managed to cobble together a store cupboard breakfast of all things. The manky end bit of a loaf toasted with the final scraping of marg from the tub and what I could get out of the marmite jar (very little), a black cherry yoghurt that OH hates (prob been there for ages so avoided looking for BB date), an oat cake, a cup of strange pomegranate tea that tastes nothing like any pomegranate I've ever eaten. How desperate am I today...? For an NSD AND some food! I will be doing the regular weekly food shop today but I don't count that or bills/rent as a spend because it's the same every week/month. I do count any food spends that are on top of the weekly shop, hence not nipping out for a nice bit of bacon and eggs this morning!

  • I have managed a fantastic 7 NSD's so far :D I've found signing up to this challange has really made me plan my spending so I have as few spending days as possible. I will be spending tomorrow on milk (delayed since friday), bananas & diesel.
