what to feed a child that wont eat

Hi
I feel for you all, but please keep going, it will be worth it in the end. Oh this is such an area of control that children have - they know we worry so they are totally in charge.
Some great advice here on the board - the best way forward is to assume control as a parent and carry on so that a child wants to copy you. Yeah great I know... but please bear with me I have seen this happen alot.
Meal times have got to become a general chat about the day, so that the food is irrelevant, every child in the family wants to take part because they are listened to. Chat and eat - great. If the child doesn't eat then clear away and bring out the next meal, breakfast... continue with the family and the chat.
Keep firm rules of meal times and fruit between as snacks and before you know it things flow. Please remember that food control is a common attention/control phase and can be overcome.
Hope things improve
