how do you know it doesn't say whsmith only if you need to know the numbers of the bar code???????

Nudge is usually on the ball

I was "tongue-in-cheek" making reference to the Esquire coupon yesterday which cortonne spoted, then later mmlh posted saying T&C said W H Smith only.
Normaly Mag coupons don't usually specify one store only.....hence most of us buying several copies of the paper, and complaining lately of no high value coupons about for weeks now.
Even the free mags and stickers etc have been able to be used against other shopping.
    1) I was hoping it would be a 99 coupon worth £1.99
    2) I was automatically assuming it didn't specify a specific store - hence my joking aside about yesterday and Smiths. ( that is why I put :D;) - to show I was making a little joke !)

Not only does the coupon specify Smiths, but clearly my humour has back-fired.
    I will shut up !!:o

From my understanding of legitimate coupon use even though the HM & Esquire coupons scan, if it says for use in WH Smiths, we shouldn't be using the coupon in Tesco's. (I bought 4 copies of The Times yesterday before reading that the Esquire coupon was valid for use in W H Smiths only and therefore binned the coupons from the 4 papers.) I don't want to risk using non-legit coupons which may, in the end, mean that T's change their coupon policy. (If I am wrong can someone tell me quickly so I can retrieve my coupons from the bin and go on the hunt for some copies of The Sun!)
