Hi
Please can you help?
I have taken possession of 755 of my dad's slides 25 - 40 years old, and want to convert them to a CD/DVD as a surprise... It will be too expensive to get it done professionally, so looking for a scanner to help me (non techie) to do it myself!
Jessops in store say the Primefim 7250U for £189.99 would do the job, 7200 x 3600 dpi.
Any ideas much appreciated.

My only suggestion would be to look on Ebay for one.
You could try a normal flatbed scanner with a slide adapter - basically a light that shines through the slide so it can be scanned.
This one is ending soon:

The software that comes with the scanner should make it easy to just scan the slides and make a file that can be saved on to a CD.
May take a while with 750+ though.

Thanks Andy
I looked at that one last night but it had already ended... I will keep looking.
