Do I pay off debt or save?

If I had the choice and it were me. Providing I had the time to do so, I would plonk savings into an ISA. Earn enough cash to offer them a settlement.

Bearing in mind each £25 you pay knocks the debt down some, by the time you have enough to offer say a third as F&F settlement it won't be as substantial as it is now.

Will take you longer, but you'll earn interest on the money in the ISA so effectively you won't be paying them as much of your own cash - does that make sense?

If you just want the debt out of the way - pay it and forget the ISA.

Whatever you choose, it will be the right decision. Good luck :)

Just purchased a satnav from ebay using money from items I'd sold!

I am struggling to stay money saving and pay off my debt as for the first time ever I have cash!

Any motivating tips will be welcome!
