Hope someone can help as useless with tax!!

Hi
I have a part time job cleaning in a school and get £70.50 a week. I have been offered another job at basic rate for 10 hours--which I believe(not checked it out though so might be wrong) is going to be £5.73 an hour as from Oct 1st so that would be £57.30 per week extra.
Could anyone please tell me how much tax and NI I would pay on my second job as i just wondered if it will be worth my while doing it.

Hi

as your income will be below £105 per week you will not have NI deducted, but you would pay tax at basic rate (20%) until a new tax code was issued as based on the figures you have given your income for the year would be below your personal allowance so would have no tax to pay overall (personal allowance for 2008/09 is £6035, per your figures you would receive £5400), and would receive a refund of any tax paid. Next year you would have to pay a small amount of tax dependent on what the government decide the 2009/10 personal allowance will be.
