Hi,
Haven't posted for ages but have been getting on and paying back debt steadily.
Had the first blip in ages and it's really thrown me - my DH is in the Royal Navy and when he's at sea cashes cheques for currency and bills on the ship and so on, and they all came out (4 months worth) unexpectedly today of our account and took us over the overdraft limit (only by a small amount as I had been leaving what i thought was enough flex in the account for the cheques to come out) and one has been returned. I know they weren't unexpected and I really thought we'd budgeted enough for them, but clearly hadn't and now i just feel so silly, but can't stop crying now and thinking that we'll never get there.
Have transferred the money I was putting aside for Christmas into the account so that's covered it, but just feeling quite depairing that we're getting anywhere despite such a large percentage of our wages going on paying back debts.
Please can someone tell me to pull myself together and move forward?!
Thanks for reading

oh honey!
sorry you're feeling blue... but hey look on the bright side, you had the money set aside to make up the shortfall.... Have you incurred any charges?
When does OH get back?
Chances are you might feel better about everything in general tomorrow, it's just that today it all seems too much.
Everyone has setbacks from time to time but you are actually in a postive place if you sorted it so quickly....#

Give the bank a phone, seen as you've made up the shortfalls you might get a reasonable agent who can waive the fees for you..... if they say no, then call back again in the daytime and get a different agent as sometimes if you don't ask you don't get!!I'm just a seething mass of contradictions....(it's part of my charm!)0 -
Thanks for that idea Maz - I'll give it a shot!0
