Alexander leather corner group - anyone got one?

in It's gone, but was it any good?
I've got one of these coming tomorrow, haven't actually seen it though as no-one had one on display so I'm a bit dubious of what's going to arrive.

I ended up ordering it from Hombase, got them to price match and it was 10% day so got it for £540 from £899 and also got spend and save points, which is good if it's ok when it comes!

Anyone got one?

    I haven't heard anything bad about it, its the exact one I'm begging my husband for though!lol but its falling on deaf ears!

    luxuriously smooth semi-aniline leather on all wearing surfaces
    Does that mean it's only part leather? ie is the back/sides vinyl

    I certainly wouldn't buy a sofa/suite without sitting on it first, we tried scores before we found a suite that suited our comfort requirements.

    Aniline leather is the most natural looking leather with the unique surface characteristics of the hide remaining visible. Aniline leather is coloured only with dye and not with a surface coating of polymer and pigment . A light surface coating may be applied to enhance its appearance and offer slight protection against spillages and soiling.

    In my opinion it just means that the leather mentioned is more appropriate for areas of the sofa which are more likely to have spills etc..

    I got it a couple of weeks ago and sent it straight back!

    Looked cheap and was 2 different colours with the sides and front at the bottom vinyl.

    I am waiting on another one (which I've actually seen and sat on!), got them to price match and 10% off again.

    Have ordered the Barcelona corner suite instead, it's actually even cheaper in Homebase now and they're having a 10% day again this weekend.

    Mine hasn't even come yet so we're sharing a footstool! :rotfl:

    strange, coz i got one and its fab. no colour difference and looks quite classy. Very comfy too.

    I'm glad you are pleased with it, maybe I just got a dodgy one!

    I'm happy with the one I've got, a big, comfy, sink in one!

    I think we both got a bargain in the end.
