Could someone recommend a place to buy a Knife sharpening steel for a decent price?

Try Chinese supermarkets in China Town. They come like a rectangular block (not your usual stick with a handle) but work great. Cost less than £1.

Spend a bit extra and get a diamond one, mine has lasted 10 years, including a few working as a chef. Easier to get a decent edge quickly. £16.99 (smaller ones are cheaper)

you think its worthwhile getting one of these, This one says its diamond coated, is that any different?

The Henckel is a better make, however there may be an element of charging for the name.

Its basically the same as the Victorinox, I'd buy the cheaper one personally.
