well I wanted Amazed by Lonestar coz its such a beautiful song but everyone has it and as it hasn't any real meaning for us we are thinking of something else. We may have something by Def Leppard as they have some lovely rock ballads and it is DF's fav band and love them now too so they mean a lot to us, i still have 11 months to decide!

My other half has always said that when we get married, he wants me to walk down the aisle to Chris Rea Road to Hell. If I won't let him play that, he said he is going to prime the DJ to play it for our first dance!!

It sounds really cheesy and I know its probably been done to death but "our" song is Ronan Keating when you say nothing at all. I just looove that song and its so apt as we do know what each other is thinking without having to even speak.

I am Soul mad and we had a Northern Soul disco for 200 at night it was suberb.

Our first dance as a married couple was to Lovin You by Minnie Riperton in 1975 - it was beautiful then and we still love it.

Here is a version of it sung by Leona Lewis when she was 15 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dZSv2_0lkO8&feature=related

Hope you will be as happy as we are.

We had a version of Aicha by Outlandish, which is basically a salsa song in french but done by a rap band! It's fab and suited us as we did a salsa for our first dance and also wanted the song to be a bit different.

  • We had Hero by Enrique Englesias
  • Hiya,

When I walked down the aisle I had Trumpet Voluntary by Jeremiah Clarke, and then on the way back up the aisle together we had Trumpet Tune by Purcell. Remember watching four weddings and a funeral, father of the bride and all the rest for inspiration as I wanted something different to the wedding march too.

We chose Beach Boys 'God only Knows' for our first dance - Dad's a huge Beach Boys fan so was lovely song for us but also nice surprise for him!

I walked down the aisle to the traditional wedding march... Our church has a full on band with drums guitars etc and I wanted people lulled into a false sense of traditionalism...

We walked back down the aisle to The Beatles, All you need is love... DH is a scouser....

Our first dance was to the song from the wedding singer 'I want to grow old with you' Mainly because it was only about 90seconds long... and also cos the lyrics are cute...
A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...
Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.
