Midway now freely offers the PC edition of The Suffering, Surreal Software's survival/horror game set in a penitentiary that is currently being adapted into a feature film. The free version of the [M]ature-rated game is supported by advertising, and a 1.3 GB download.

Thanks,but im staying away from games for a while,especially online multiplayer types.
I downloaded Warrock coz i heard it was good,couldnt get it working -deleted reinstalled still no good so i uninstalled it.
That when my pc problems started,these online games use a system called Punkbuster-its a way to stop cheating
but what they dont tell u is when u uninstall it stays hidden on your pc.
It stops many legit apps working,thinking they are rouge
including browsers,so nothing to do with this game but if youve downloaded online games and are having pc problems check for process "PnKBstrA.exe
and remove it.

Is anyone else having the same problem as me... where after downloading the game, my virus software is picking it up as a virus? (Nod32) I am aware it could be false posi but just wondered if anyone else had had the same problem.

I downloaded this as i remember playing it a few years ago on the PS2 i think.
Its a good game but i keep getting an annoying pop-up every few minutes advertising a film and the gameplay freezes :mad:
The perks of a freebie i suppose :rolleyes:
