From what i read after filling in the form, the closing date was for a competition they were doing. It said i would still recieve the sample

We aim to dispatch samples within 14 days, however please allow 28 days for delivery. Conditions beyond our control may cause temporary disruption to the service. Although we strive to deliver every sample ordered, Comfort cannot guarantee delivery.

1. This offer is open to all UK residents aged 18 years or over.
2. All valid registrations will receive a free pack containing two samples of New Comfort Tropical – one Tempting Nature sample (green) and one Tropical Burst sample (orange), until sample stocks are exhausted.

This is a really great freebie, in my opinion. Mine turned up fairly quickly, and it's nice that you get two good sized sachets!
