    so investment banks are recruiting

that's got to be a good sign, last week people were rejoicing that "110,000 people" might lose their jobs

Who would these people actually be, that were rejoicing then?

(I keep asking you for proof whenever you make your ridiculous claims and you keep miserably failing to provide it. I guess this time won't be any different )

Every pound less borrowed (to buy a house) is more than two pounds less to repay and more than three pounds less to earn, over the course of a typical mortgage.

Give it a rest. You seem like a bright lad and I honestly don't see what you gain from posting this cr ap.

It's a beautiful sunny day. I've just taken the boy Generalissimo out on the bike and I'm looking forward to some lovely sausages from the butchers for my dinner.

I'd just like Chucky to back up his comments. But you're right, given his track record on that it's a bit of a waste of time. It would be nice if the people griping and casting personal aspersions instead of engaging in debate would give it a rest though.

It's true but it takes 2 to tango. A poster looks like a complete idiot arguing by himself!
