Threading being an ancient art of hair removal from India.
Well my eyebrows need a tidy up, and a store has just opened up just by me, is it ok, does it work.
Any one had this done?

Life is about give and take, if you can't give why should you take?

Hi Paparika,
I've been threading my eyebrows for about 5 years now and it's sooo much better than waxing/plucking etc as it gives a much better and neater line.
The only thing is, it's quite painful depending on who does it! But still worth it and it's quick.

Thanks Lisaf
I pluck em myself and now and then go and have them reshapped as i am rubbish at it.
Just noticed threading yesterday and wanted to know was it the latest fad to be avoided or was it any good.
£8.99 for eyebrows good/bad?Life is about give and take, if you can't give why should you take?0 -
I also love threading, as Lisaf said you get a neater line than waxing or plucking. My local salon charges £5 which is the cheapest I've seen, and the most expensive is Benitos in Selfridges which is £10.If it hurts no-one, let it be :beer:0

I have my eyebrows threaded & love the final effect - so smooth & clean, I then pluck the stray ones myself when they come through & the odd trim.
It makes your eyes water but not too bad. I only know 1 place near me that does it & they charge £10, but keeping up with the stray hairs makes it last longer & therefore reduces the costYou cant take a step forward with both feet on the ground0
