Yorkshire BS rates

Am a bit confused. I phoned my lender, YBS, this morning-my fixed deal ends next week with them-and was offered a 5.79% 3 year fixed mortgage - I was enquiring about a 5.59% I saw last Sunday. I was told that was no longer available and that they had new rates today. But have just looked at their website and can't see the 5.79% now!! Surely they haven't withdrawn that one already! Thank goodness I phoned if that's the case!

Rates are rising but I expect them to fall again by December.

I suspect the 5.79% rate was for existing customers, and not new customers, which the website will quote. I would phone again in the morning.

Accord bringing back out Prime rates from Monday next week which is a good sign. Still no Sub prime deals from them though.
