Blank CD Media under 13p each from Tesco

I was desperate for some cd recordables at about midnight so I jaunted off to Tesco (24hrs) hoping to just buy a few for a project I needed to complete. Just came across 'Mr Data' 52X700mb CD recordables at £6.47 for 25. Not the cheapest I here you say, but it was on a buy one get one free (bogof) offer. It had a decent storage spindle and I think the price is comparable to the best on the web when you factor in postage and packing costs and sheer convenience. Whilst I was in the shop could not resist the AV sender (yet unpriced) but thanks to MSers I felt more than confident to purchase it.
Do you make things happen, watch things happen, or just wonder, what happened?

Thanks for this, just picked up 100 cds today. From the same brand, Mr DVDs are BOGOF too, probably not a good price if you bought in bulk, £6.97 for 20 (including BOGOF).0

Best place to get any media from is https://www.blankdiscshop.co.uk. £2.20 odd for 25 cd's.No reliance should be placed on the above.0

MTVG..
I think you would find that the Tesco deal works out cheaper. I had a quick look at blank disk shop and after you factor in shipping it comes to £5.75 for 25.Datawrite (52x) 80 Minute CDR in packs of 25 = £1.91 / €uro2.72
Shipping (UK Royal Mail) = £2.99 / €uro4.26
VAT= £0.85 / €uro1.21
Total= £5.75 / €uro8.19
For my convenience, I would have still preferred to buy from Tesco if they were still being sold at the original price of £6.47 for 25 compared to the £5.75 offered by an etailer. But to be give 50 for £6.47 it blows away this competition me thinks.Do you make things happen, watch things happen, or just wonder, what happened?0 -
MrData DVD+R at 20 for £6.97 on a spindle
MrData CD-R at 50 for £6.47 on a spindle
Both are BOGOFF so the prices were for 10 and 25 respectively.
Going as fast as they were putting them out at my local Tesco just now!British Ex-pat in British Columbia!0 -

I have used this place and they are very good.
The last time I used Blankdiscshop (SVP), all the discs had fingerprints on them, so will never use again.0 -
FOR DVD+R
Not sure how many you looking to buy, but if you looking at a lot (100+) then I haven't found anything to beat this deal:
http://www.amazon.co.uk/exec/obidos/ASIN/B0002ZDRN0/202-4265464-2165468?%5Fencoding=UTF8
They take a couple of weeks to arrive and although they are advertised at 4x the last two lots turned out to be 8x.
I must have used about 340 of these and so far I have no failures either using them on the computer or in any of the 3 DVD drives I have and the countless other machines my friends have.
At 20p per disk delivered - a bargain in my eyes.
