Remeber if you have bought an imported PSP (non UK stock) you won't be able to claim this offer. I found this as I bought mine back in April/May as an import.

I have a Japanese PSP and claimed for the Spiderman 2 UMD and just changed the model number to the UK model on the registration form and received the UMD.

My friend who does not have a PSP entered random numbers on the form and received a copy of the UMD but this was when the offer was first out so it seems Sony were not checking the numbers and just sending out the UMD's but don't know if it will still work

Incorrect as the poster above shows and I myself - having bought a PSP in New York end of October - registered it for the Spiderman 2 UMD, and as above used a UK Version with the real serial number. I got the film 1 week later - AND it plays even though it should be regionally locked out.

How do you guys change your serial from jap to uk?

I have just bough a ceramic white psp off ebay, will this matter when i register?

Hi,

Just add your real serial number into the box on the registration form then it will ask you for a model number and you should get a drop down box with a few model numbers to choose from. Just choose the last one which is the UK model number which I think is PSP1004 for the UK model but cannot remember as I just entered the last model number.
