Try Classic Blinds & Awnings in Carryduff - 90814197. We had them out a couple of months ago to fit three blinds. they came out very promptly, took measurements and the blinds were fitted a couple of days later by a friendly guy who did a good job. They were reasonably priced too0

Hi, I have one in my bathroom.bought it from B&Q.
They are exceptionally heavy to hoist!
and when pulled up they still take a lot more room than a roller or venetian blind. You lose a good bit of the top of your window. The longer the blind the worse the problems of weight and depth become.
I wouldnt buy one again.
juat a few thoughts.

i was looking for a wooden blind for my new kitchen last year and was shocked at the high price  ended up getting a wooden coloured venetian blind from a company of the net think it was about £90 for and 8' by 4' drop and looked the part :T well worth the money

hi e1, this is my 1st post but hopefully it will help you out. I bought 4 wooden made to measure blinds from interiordecordirect.co.uk and they cost me £148 plus £5.99 delivery. Thats with 50% off - the website says for a limited time but i bought mine in February and the offer is still on - i just checked. My OH measured the windows and put the blinds up himself and they are fine. 2 of the windows are about 6 ft wide I think and the other 2 are 4ft ones. worth a look if nothing else0

Haven't used them myself but interiordecordirect.co.uk were recommended by a friend who thought they were good too.
I was looking for wood effect alluminium for patio doors but their max drop is 160cm :rolleyes:Dave0 -

I've had the wooden blinds and they are a complete disaster, put your back out when opening them and they are very bulky.
When I moved house I got aluminium wood effect blinds, much better job, look better, easier to use, easier to clean and a fraction of the price. I got mine from a place in Dromore near Banbridge, think it was called Victors Blinds. Quite cheap0
