Advice needed for motgage please

    That is an idea as the area is good for unis close by and alot of drs also rent in the area.

    I pay £400 currently where i am.

    The only problem I can see with letting it is that I am more than certain it will need rewiring to pass any regs that are around.

    Would I be more likely to get a BTL mortgage than a residential mortgage then?

    Just seems odd renting a place out for me to livein with my children when I could live there? I suppose it could cover my mortgage payments etc yes I see where you are coming from.

    So it is extremly unlikely then I would get a mortage accepted for myself to live there?
