Hi everyone,
I am just about to face up to my £38000 debts with a DMP with CCCS, any advice?? Do you think they are good? What happens if creditors don't accept my reduced payments??
Thanks
Nikki

Hi Nikki.
To be honest your creditors can't really refuse your offer. They might not like it but b0llocks to them!
You're in the best hands with the CCCS.

You debts look like mine to start off with, are you with cccs? I am behind on my payments, should I send a token payment with my letters??

I'm not with CCCS. I was lucky enough to be able to scrape through paying my creditors. I think the normal protocol is to send token payments but CCCS will be able to tell you for sure.

That is impressive being able to do that, I don't have enough for the minimum repayments!!!
Just getting all my paperwork together, think my first month is going to be November... Just hope everything will be OK.

You will need to work out how much you can afford to give your creditors. Try using the statement of affairs calculator. It's quite a handy tool. After you talk to the CCCS and know exactly what money you have each month will enable you to see where you can take this forward.

CCCS are brilliant, you will get letters and phone calls from your creditors to start with but just tell them you are with CCCS and givethem your CCCS number and put the phone down. It all goes quite after a while and all my creditors have accepted my payments and stopped interest. good luck0

I'm afraid I don't have any advice regarding CCCS as I am not using anyone to help me with my debts but I wanted to pop on and say welcome to the board and good luck with your journey to being debt free.Proud to be dealing with my debts - DFW No: 712
