How do I cancel an RBS loan during the cooling off period?

Unfortunately she cannot remove the credit search as your girlfriend was orginally okay with this and the credit search has already been done. Sorry, but the mark will already be on her credit history. But not to worry as one won't affect her. It's when you have maybe 3 or so loan applications / declines that people start to question things.

Thanks for all the info. She has a pre-contract sheet but it doesn't say how to cancel and also mentions a leaflet regarding the insurance which she wasn't given.

She has managed to make an appointment to see the advisor on Tuesday to try to sort things out so thanks again to everyone for their advice. :beer:
