Any free or cheap diaries around?, I used to be offered a choice of freebies from my FIL who ran a business and received more than he could use, but sadly now have to buy one.Looked in WHS but they want £4+ for a pocket one. Do the poundland ones survive a year?

Woolworths have a very good soft touch pocket diary for £2.49. It has a gold edge, good quality paper and it even comes with a pencil down the spine.
The thing that impressed me most, however, was the content. The diary itself goes from Friday 9 Dec 2005 and continues all the way to Sunday 14 Jan 2007! There are over 60 pages of useful info, including quotes, calorie counts, stain removal tips, first aid tips, gardening tips(!), wine charts, useful websites and contacts and loads more. I still can't believe how much is in it. There is a day by day planner up to the end of March 2007, plus it has a map at the back with all the West End Theatres and Cinemas listed!
I got this diary when Woolies had 10% off everything in store, so if they have one of these again, you may even be able to get hold of the diary for £2.24.
They do have cheaper pocket diaries, some were less than £2 full price and appeared to be pretty good quality. So maybe they are worth a try. Good luck!0 -
I bought a hard backed A5 diary from Poundland which has half a page for each day. They also have pocket diaries and A4 sized diaris too.I have the mind of a criminal genius. I keep it in the freezer next to Mother....0

If you don't need one urgently, wait until the January sales. They are always reduced.0
