to fix or not to fix??

hey guys, whats the latest thinking, our deal ends in a few weeks, I dont want to go onto the svr but Im not sure whether to go for a 2 or 3 yr fix or a tracker?
anyone got the current advise on what the base rate is likely to do ?

My prediction is base rate likely to stay the same next month. Thats reason i've gone for as tracker for the short term to see how things pan out.0

Get the best of both worlds by looking at trackers that offer a switch to fix option such as Nationwide, Woolwich or C&G.

We went for a fix. I couldn't stand the hassle of shopping around for better deals on a regular basis.
Mainly though, I know I would lose sleep worrying about rate rises so I don't mind the risk of rate drops for peace of mind.0
