made the phone call

I am now on my way i have managed to get the money togher to pay the £345 i need my date is 6th oct to go bankrupt
but i am abit worreid as my only income is my job seekers money which should be £60.50 a week but i have to pay back a social fund loan of £3 per month that is all the money i have coming in as my job seekers is contrubsion based i have to show my last 3 months bank statements which is ok so i can get excemtion from court cost do you think i will get excemption ? because i only get this money this worries me more as i cannot get the rest for court cost . :confused: sorry if i sound a bit confuse i am on anti depressants and they make my mind fuzzled

    I'm not sure but I don't see why you wouldn't be exempt. Congratulations for taking that big step though.

    If you are on Income Based JSA, then you do not have to pay the Court Fee -

    As there may be something else there that will help you as you are on contribution based. (cant see why there is a difference for the fees - its the same amount of money per week!)

    You will need proof of your entitlement that is dated within 1 month. You still have to pay the OR fees that you have saved for (£345) but you can get the court fees waived.

    Mmm.. Re-Reading the forms, you should still get the exemption based on a low income.

    Hi Skylight I was just about to say the same, you have to add everything in as income and it is the gross amount I think. I did look but I am not entitled to it due to maintenance paid for my son, and my mothers contribution to housekeeping.

    This person however should most certainly be entitled to it, maybe they should ring the court and ask.
