Ideas for childminder and swim tutor

My DS is 18 months old, I need to know what to get for his swim tutor and his childminder for christmas? I want something inexpensive but different. I am sure they get lots of chocolates and smellies etc. Any ideas greatly appreciated. Thanks.

As a childminder myself the best gifts that I have received were a potted plant basket (morrisons approx £5 to £8) which lasted ages and when one of the plants died off I seperated it into individual plantpots which are still living on various windowsills (a bit of a surprise in my house) and of course wine;) (the parents know me well).
I personally don't like smellies as I have sensitive skin and invariably end up giving them away (which always feels wrong somehow). Whatever you choose I'm sure your childminder will love it:D

How about bulbs planted in a pot?

Mug with hot chocolate sachets wrapped in cellophane?
