Nationwide online service

Has anyone used this new service for remortgaging? I spent over half an hour on the phone to them a few weeks back to discuss my options and request paperwork for the product I was interested in...two weeks later I recieved a generic mortgage leaflet and a web address!

I am keen to remortgage soon but cannot tell if signing up to a new deal online means Im 'commited' versus being sent the paperwork to look at and sign in my own time? (I know there's no fee for existing customers at mo but don't like thought of being hoodwinked!)

Thanks
