Accord Mortgages - end of fixed rate - rate rises?

Our fixed rate with Accord ends on Jan 31st 09, its our intention to stay with them at the end of our current fixed rate and i've noticed that over the last few months their rates for Existing Borrower Transfers have gladly reduced.

This means based on their current figures i think out payments will increase buy about £80/90 as opposed to the £150 i'd originally envisaged. Is it likely these rates may continue to gradually decrease over the coming months or go up as per many recent articles re other companies.

Some 'professional opinions' would be really appreciated.

thanks

  • Your lucky to get anything out of them at all. Go on their website for non Accord customers and you will not get any products for prime or sub prime. I think they will come back into the market soon as Yorkshire BS are bringing new rates out soon. Accord had this silly 5.19% fixed rate and were snowed under so they stopped lending for a while.
