Sounds dodgy to me, I personally wouldn't get involved.

It's a scam, I've had about 5 similar emails recently all from different companies but offering the same thing.

Its a scam... they will send you money which is not yet cleared in their bank account, asking you to send it on within 1 or 2 days (hense it not being cleared in your account). YOu'll be sending the money back to the scammers, you'll go overdrawn because initally the payment must be from CLEARED funds (not a problem if you are waiting on something to clear)... and then the transfer that you got originally will be cancelled because of lack of funds from the original bank.

Thus you have paid x amount of money, essentialy given it to someone else, and left yourself overdrawn.

I used to work in a bank and this happened all the time. Please please please dont fall into the trap.

this looks a little like the latest incarnation of the Nigeria Scam.
Very dodgy indeed.

It does cost companies money to withdraw profits from abroad (Withholding Tax as it is known) and so the scheme mentioned above would be tax evasion which is illegal.

So best case, you are an accessory to fraud, worst case they con you out of money.

Best keep looking for that elusive opportunity.

Alternatively you find yourself involved in a money laundering scam.

The payments in come from an advanced fee fraud or bank accounts accessed fraudulently and you are sending the money on outside the UK.
