is this real??? i dont know them?

just received a call from CLC Resorts AT Hotels (who?) saying i have won a seven day holiday for me and my partner to take within the next 18 months.
I have been given a reservation number and a 0800 telephone number to ring and confirm my reservation and to choose my destination.
If i book within the hour i also get £50 vouchers to spend on my chosen holiday. there is a booking fee of £29.50 per person.
I asked what comp i had won and was told that it is from a survey ive done within the last 18 months. (I've done loads)
Please does anyone know of these people IS IT REAL?????

  • It's a scam, my son had a similar call last week. You shouldn't have to pay a booking fee if you have won a holiday.

  • Scam. I had this call a couple of months ago myself :(
Thanks to everyone who posts comps, I love winning prizes big and small

I've just had a call whilst I was a work - they're calling me back at 4.30pm - bang go my dreams. Any messages you would like me to pass on when they get back to me?

just had my phone call from Craig who gave me the "good news"! I asked him if it was a scam and he promised it wasn't lol. I asked if I needed to pay anything as I had just been made redundant and his tone surprisingly changed!

He said I didn't need to pay anything for the holiday but i did need a certain level of income (why my income should have anything to do with winning a holiday is anyone's guess!) then he rather quickly put the phone down.

Do you think he guessed I was on to him lol:rolleyes:

thanks to everyone who has posted about this company, I was so so happy when I first got the call, my family hasn't had a holiday this year and I was praying I could take the kids away. If I hadn't read this first I would have been really upset, instead I was able to wind them up!

    take care everyone

Its a scam in the sense of not telling you that you have to sit through the timeshare spiel for a couple of hours and pay a fee to get a week's holiday. I think there is also a limit on what weeks you can go or something like that.

If you're desperate for a holiday and don't mind being bored for a couple of hours to get it, followed by high pressure sales that you keep having to refuse to bite, then you do get a holiday. Depends therefore on how much you want it.
