Got mine today
Many thanks MSE and Energenie
Just a bit a feedback. Does anyone know if this can be used with more than one appliance?
Where I want to put mine is on a TV that has a plug behind a chest of drawers. As it has to be turned on again using a button on the appliance, a longer lead would have been much more useful to me.
Don't wish to sound ungrateful, but I thought I'd put in my tuppence worth.
Many thanks MSE and Energenie

Thanks for starting this thread, Jazzy_B. I got an Energenie Standby Shutdown too. :j I see what you mean about the potential problem re. having to reach the reset button. I was planning to attach the device to the main TV but I may have to re-think as the TV socket is hidden and not easy to reach. It looks like a useful device and I'd like to put it where it would be most effective. I'll have a think about it and post again when I've more feedback.
Thank you Energenie and MSE.0 -
I'm having the same problem as you both, I guess the manufacturers didn't really think this through properly as it's a problem a lot of people will have and as I really don't like the idea of running this off an extension lead just so i can use it on the main TV I'm going to have to look round and see what else I could use it on!
Thank you for it though MSE and The Energenie TeamJust become FTBs & Aiming to be mortgage free by 2034

Yup i got mine too and like everyone else is finding its only about 50cm in length in total and the fact you need to push the reset button to turn the appliance back on limits where you can use it.
But thanks mse0 -
Got mine today. Thanks MSE.
I'm having the same problem. I thought it would be perfect for our wall mounted plasma tv as the plug is hidden away. I can't see us hunting in the cupboard to knock it back on again so will have to find another use for it.0 -
Got mine today as well.
Many thanks to MSE and Energenie:T0
