  • Don't try the Basics Wheat Biscuits - they are terrible. My son wouldn't eat them as they don't melt into warm milk very well. Wouldn't recommend them although the rest of my shopping at Sainsbury's is their basics stuff (not the meat though). Sainsbury's own weetabix is fine though.
    Can recommend their basic salmon. I don't eat it but my parents do (including my dad who IS a food snob!!) and they think it's fine.

    My son is a cereal fanatic and loves the basics wheat biscuits....there are a bit different to standard wheatabix in that they arent as mushy:D

  • we found the value weetabix in sainsburys to be vile.they even looked odd and tasted terrible.i always buy value fruit and veg.i think its great

  • Most of my shopping is orange and white. lol. But I agree dont buy the basic weetbiscuit but sainsburys own wheat biscuit is nice. Also agree about the basic salmon odd shapes. they are perfect for my dd's current obsession for making Japanese food.
    Thaks for the article. It is good to know that it is all just as good for you. With the exception of sausages which I am quite fussy about.
