I want some family photos

I've recently bought a £25 voucher for Venture photo studios but have since found out that thier prints are really expenive. I think I get one "free" print with the voucher. But I've heard that they really try to sell you loads of pictures which cost loads.
Does anyone have any ideas of where I can get photos taken at a reasonable price?

Does it matter who's family it is? I can send you some if you like

Where did you buy the voucher from? Can you take it back and buy the £40 voucher instead?
The £25 one gives you one small 'free' print, apparently worth £125. The £40 one gives you a much better sized picture, worth £200 or so.
If you can't get a refund on your voucher, it is worth trying to upgrade it.
Venture pictures are expensive, as they only sell them framed. They do try to sell you more, on a viewing night, usually accompanied by upbeat music & free wine. You don't have to buy any more!
Or, since we have no idea where you are, ask around locally for a good photographer. They can all do the Venture 'style' which is basically 'relaxed posed' family shots, usually at a quirky angle, with the colours very highlighted in editing.
A local photographer will ofter sell you the whole cd of your edited photos for the same price a one Venture framed one. Then you can print off or have printed whatever you want.0 -
If you are anywhere near Somerset - come and see us.

We had Venture pics done of our family about 18 months ago- and yes they are expensive but they are fabulous!!!
WE had a really fantastic afternoon in the studio and then an evening viewing the photos and they were all absolutely brilliant-we bought a huge family portrait and tho it WAS a lot of money- I look at it every day as my middle child is away at Uni and I miss him...... a fabulous family treasure and one that I will NEVER regret!
If you are able to afford it-go for it!!0
