    Hey, Caroline!

Best bet is to check out this thread for people new to comps: https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/1014121

    - I tend to do lots of comps where the end date is in the next few days, so I'll know sooner if I have won anything without having to keep track.

    - Most people find themselves entering 50+ comps a day, which naturally betters their chances of winning something (no prize is too small) Comps that require effort, and blog comps often have fewer entries, thus increasing your odds of winning

    - Patience. It's exciting at first when you see all the prizes etc, but it's easy to become disheartened/bored/burned out because of it. When it stops being fun, just take a break and come back to it (got my first win this month after two years of nothing)

    Good luck :D

A few weeks ago I posted that I'd won a sketch of my choice. I asked it to be of my cat who sadly was run over and killed. The sketch came a couple of days ago and I'm just thrilled with it. I'm trying to upload a pic, but I don't think it's working. Any tips? I've uploaded it to photobucket, then clicked on the 'insert image' icon and pasted the link, but it doesn't seem to work:

Having said that, at the moment I have the pic as my avatar - so you can still see it if you want to. She was called Fiasco - very appropriately. X

Edit: Thanks loads sandycheeks. As you can see, your tip worked :)

Blulu I used Tinypic to upload my photo - it gives you the code for message boards :)
  • What a stunning drawing and a lovely tribute to such a beautiful kitty.
To err is human, but to really mess things up you need a computer.
