Just come back from our brilliant trip to Vegas I won back in July. We stayed at Caesar's Palace which was amazing and we even managed to get upgraded to a junior suite! The only small hiccup was that my boyfriend came down with food poisoning on our second day and was really ill for 24 hours.

But on our last night he proposed to me under the Eiffel Tower at the Paris hotel - he got down on one knee in front of everyone too and they all cheered and clapped afterwards! Needless to say, I said yes My new ring even managed to get us an upgrade on the plane on the way back too!

So here's a pic of us outside the Mirage hotel. We're actually going back to Vegas next week to see the New Year in - typically, I had booked it the week before I won the holiday! - so we'll get to celebrate all over again :j

Wow, now that is a holiday filled with romance.

Seems like the holiday to Las Vegas was full of all sorts of upgrades, and not just room or flight wise.

Did you have any sort of inkling that he was going to/or even thinking of proposing during the holiday?

Either way that has to to be one of the best holiday stories anyone has ever posted about here. I'm really happy for the both of you.

Thanks I had no idea he was going to propose on holiday, so didn't know why he kept trying to drag me towards the Eiffel Tower while I was salivating over the slot machines! Now I just have to work on winning a wedding... :rolleyes:
