This is from my children to Daddy for Fathers day. I know it isn't half as good as some of them on here but I am still pretty impressed with it lol.
    It contains:

    Lynx x 3
    Galaxy chocolate
    Belgian Waffles
    3 Bags of sweets
    Banana chips
    Tin of cherries
    Tabasco Sauce
    Apricot jam
    Pepper sauce
    Appletiser x 4
    Thorntons chocolates
    Dad chocolate

That sounds really strange typing that out but they are all his favourite things. It all came to £22.27. I already had the plastic box, the kids did hand painting all over white paper and I wrapped it in that.

    Hi sweetheart,

Just wanted to pop in and say: what a lovely hamper you have done. Your husband will be so thrilled and using the hand painted paper off the children is so beautiful.

So feel very proud of yourself and your hubby is a very lucky guy. ;)

The only problem you will have is to keep it from him until Sunday, I bet your children can't wait to give him such a lovely gift :A

Oh and hi to Rusty :hello: your still a legend ;)

    Hi everyone,

I have just scrolled through a few pages of your wonderful hampers. They're fab - wish someone would make me one!! Anyhow, I am feeling very inspired and think I might attempt one myself for my DDs teacher's end-of-term pressie.

Just wondering where is the best place to buy the cellophane that you wrap them in - it makes them look so professional.

    TIA xx

kjmtidea, fantastic hamper, I just love the 'handprint' wrapping paper idea.

    Hi all,
Just wanted to say what lovely hampers you all have made. For my Christmas hamper, I gathered many ideas from another site, but I must say that everybody's ideas here are so much better. I've had a lot of inspiration from here for my Fathers Day basket. :)

I have tried to post a picture, but being a new user it won't allow me.

    ---

kerrymay - You should be able to find cellophane in most florists / fruit & veg shops. The lovely lady behind the till gave me mine for free.
It's usually possible to buy it for 50p -ish a meter. Failing that, Ebay always has plenty, though it is a bit more expensive.
    Hope that helps. :)
  • Hi Have not made Hampers for occasions yet only for the School raffles that my 2 kids go to.

This was a gift box hamper with rose soaps, smelly candles and 2 body washes from Avon.

The next one i know it was not a hamper but could not resist puttin it on it was a candy bouquet which i did for a school raffle prize as well.
