Here we go with the six we've assembled this year:
Gardening Hamper for MiL:
MiL is a keen gardener... so this was an obvious choice:
Contents: plant labels, soft backed and heavy duty gardening gloves, seedling trays, bulb planter,
hand fork, hand trowel, dibber, seeds, kneeling pad & shears. All encased in a fantastic purple trug
I picked up from eBay for about £5.
USA Hamper for FiL:
The in-laws are off to the US on a driving holiday in April.
Contents: USA road map, Dummies Guides to California and Arizona,
Frommers Guide to Utah, Maglite torch, leather wallet / passport holder
and sunglasses. all wrapped in an Ikea Kassett DVD box.
Foody Hamper for BiL:
BiL likes two things: beer and food!
Contents: 3x beers, balsamic vinegar, roasted peppers, Jacobs cracker selection, food 'rubs' (Asda),
choc & chilli Schwarz rub, salami, lazy garlic, chutney 2x flavoured oils, 4x cheese truckles (not
pictured, in the fridge still!). Also in an Ikea Kassett box.
Gluten Free Choc 'treat' hamper for SiL:
Contents: 4x Thorntons choc, TruFree 'Choc Dip', TruFree luxury
choc biscuits, TruFree Brownies, Glebe Farm chocolate cake mix,
OK Foods choc sponge pudding, and a bag of Thorntons chocolate
coins. In a box we had lying around at home.
Mushroom Hamper for my sister:
She's obsessed with mushrooms, so I couldn't pass the opportunity to indulge her!:
Contents: Porcini pasta, creamed mushrooms & garlic, Geo Watkins Mushroom ketchup, dried
mushrooms, mushroom brush, individually designed mushroom-printed mug, mushroom Pot Noodle,
mushroom soup, Dr Weil's Mushroom face serum, Collins Mushrooms (identifying) book, Totally
Mushroom cookbook, mushroom bag (for storage), chargrilled mushrooms in oil, oh, and coconut
mushrooms! In a brown Ikea Nostalgisk box.
Chilli Hamper for Sister and her boyf:
Both of them are obsessed with chillies. It's a difficult choice between mushrooms and chillies for my sister:
Contents: Chilli pasta, Banks chilli & lime crisps, Kettle chilli chips, Bombay Bad Boy Pot Noodle,
chilli instant noodles, chilli and lemon seasoning, chilli seeds (to grow), chilli chocolate, Peri-Peri
ketchup, Hot Pepper sauce, artificial chilli string, habanero chilli nuts and three hot speciality sauces:
an Adam & Eve sauce and Dave's Temporary Insanity (boyf is called Dave). In a larger (I bought it
too big unfortunately) Ikea Kassett box.
All wrapped in silver-star cellophane from Flowerhour on Ebay.
Happy to answer questions about any of these by PM or in the chat thread (if I remember to check it!)0 -
