An 'advent hamper' i've done for my mum
It's filled with 24 mini-presents, numbered 1-24. Each little parcel which is filled with a couple of sweets, or a chocolate coin, and a hand-written note which say things like "i'm so glad you're my mum xx", "only 2 weeks til christmas! xx", "have a good day at work - love you lots xx" etc etc.
In number 24 i've put a pot of solid 'LUSH' perfume which cost around £4, as a special surprise for her as she loves the smell of it!
I've now got to do 5 other advent hampers for my dad, my uncle, my nan and my two children!
lol
Here's the one i gave to my mum!

Just to add to this quickly -
I'm doing two of these for my nan and uncle. But they live over 100 miles away, so all the presents will be going into jiffy bags with a bit of the gold foil, rather than a nice hamper. But to make it seem a little bit special i've written a poem to go in each of their jiffy bags.
I wrote it out on word and added some christmas trees as a border. If anyone wants to use the poem, feel free (although it's not that good - but then i never claimed to be a poet
lol)
Here you go!

Advent’s just for kids, some say.But if you love Christmas you’ll find a way,To bring some sparkle into December,To make it a month for you to remember.Empty these goodies into a bowl,And you will be closer to your goal.As Christmas draws closer and near,Open these presents with festive cheer.Although it must be a dreadful wait,Only open them on the corresponding date.Though excited you may be,Only open in order – 1, 2 ,3.We hope this puts a smile on your face,And a sprinkle of magic into your place. With lots of love from us to you,From B***, A*, S****, and B***** too.xxxx0 -
Thanks to Beki's idea above I've now finished my mums advent hamper - I've put little notes in each of them off my son, have used different sweets and put some handcream, and for Christmas eve a lush bath bomb! I'm thrilled to bits with this and intend doing one every year!
