Advice on a refund thats coming my way

I got home today to find a ansaphone message from the Registrars Office that was going to be handling my now cancelled wedding on Saturday.
They are refunding me £288.50 which is the cost of the registrar coming out to the venue.
Now - I have an account with a catalogue that is currently standing at £147.80. The account is with crazy clearance .co.uk (part of the JD williams home shopping group).
So do I pay this one off completely and shut down the account and put the change into my bank or what should I do.
I have my phone meeting with CCCS on Thursday and am quite scared of what is going to happen.
What do you think I should do peoples?

I personally would use this money and pay off that debt. My guess is that the interest rate is quite high and there is also the added psychological advantage of one less debt.
