Hello the Great and the Good of the OS ...
I have a number of leftover Blackberries from my various makings of Blackberry Gin this year ... in past years I have simply discarded them ... However as this year I have been making various Jams and Jellies from hedgerow fruits ... I was wondering if I could simply lump these berries in with the others I have to add a little 'j'ne sais quoi' ...
I was intending making another batch of jam ... but if they would be more suitable for jelly (strained out) then so be it ...
Many Thank You's

I don't see any reason why you can't use them up in your jam making but bear in mind that any alcohol in them will be boiled off when you're boiling up the combined fruit and sugar mixture so it won't be alcoholic jam.0

Thanks Primrose ... Thought that might be the case ... but they may still impart a feint gin taste ... which may or may not be a bad thing ...LittleBill ... "The riches of a man can be measured by what he can do without"0
