You'd pay about £620 a month on the 7.09% SVR

    Hi Locoblade,

Can I ask what amount you got for the capital remaining after the two years?

    I got: 87,699 x 1.0539 - (12 x 538.99) = 85,958 after one year, and
    85,958 x 1.0539 - (12 x 538.99) = 84,123 after the two years.

With that (over a further 23 years at 7.09%), the BBC calculator gives £626.69 a month.
