Hi all
i'm looking for a recommendation for a decent hairdresser in the Newcastle area? I usually go to Toni and Guy but the cost is just becoming phenomenal and i don't think i can justify it anymore! i've already tried to save money by letting my hair grow out for a while instead of maintaining my shorter style but my barnet is beginning to look a state!

If you're able to try The Retreat which is part of Newcastle College. It's all the final year students who work in the Salon/Spa, under the supervision of the staff and you can get such a cheap deal it's unbelievable. Well worth trying out.0

Try Hairoom in Shieldfield, its not far from the city centre and prices are very reasonable. It caters for both sexes and all ages, and the owner used to work in Regis in Fenwicks. I've been a customer since it opened and wouldn't go anywhere else, its a lovely friendly salon.0

A woman goes into a hairdressers in Ashington and asks for a perm.
The hairdresser replies - "I wandered lonely as a cloud..........."0 -
