Tesco ClubCard Plus - How does it work?

As far as I know, we get extra double points for using ClubCard Plus.
So, If I spend £50, I should have 50 points from shopping and another 100 points from paying with ClubCard Plus. (Please correct me if I'm wrong!)


We currently have 3 ClubCards in our household, one in my name which is linked to a ClubCard Plus, the other two are in my brother and my partner's name which aren't linked to any ClubCard Plus account.
I've noticed that "TPF bonus points" only appears on the receipt if I uses ClubCard Plus as a ClubCard (for collecting shopping points) as well as payment method. In another words, if I use my brother's Tesco ClubCard for shopping points, then pay with my ClubCard Plus. It seems that no double points is collected? If so, the surely using a Tesco Credit card is a quicker way to collect points?

If you spend £50 in Tesco and pay with CC+ you will get 50 normal points and 50 TPF points for using your CC+ - total 100 points.

If you put the normal points on a different clubcard, and then pay with CC+ then the points will be split over the 2 cards (50 to your brothers card, and 50 TPF points to the CC+ which paid)
