Homebase - Kiev and Vessona sofas

I am looking at purchasing one or two cheap leather sofas, and have seen the Kiev and Vessona sofas in Homebase. At around the £500 mark they fit my budget. Looking in store, these models were not on show, although other cheap models I sat on seemed quite comfortable. Since I have not seen these in the flesh, I was wondering whether anyone had any first hand experience of these – there are very few reviews on the web.

I (hopefully) have realistic expectations, after all this is essentially cheap Argos furniture. I really want to know is it is likely to be comfortable for a couple of years.

We have just picked up some ex display SCS leather ones for £700 the pair (2 seater and a over sized arm chair) for £500 from a loacl shop .

Might be worth a try as have read some BAD reviews about cheaper leather sofas?

Sorry don't know about those particular sofas, but I bought a cheap leather sofa from Argos 4 years ago (about £300 for 2 seater). I was a bit wary of buying it, but it's been wonderful, we use it everyday and I often sleep on it when T'other half's snoring gets bad :rotfl:
It still gets compliments and lookslike new.

Hopefully the Homebase one's are of a similar quality seeing as they are the same company.
