ASDA electrical guarantee

Probably a long shot but can anyone remember when ASDA stopped doing the 3 year guarantee for electricals. Do you have the little envelope they put these receipts in?
Ive got a DVD recorder from them which is 18 months old and is now stuffed.
Audio is coming through before the picture now and its getting impossile to watch DVD's on it. Ive still got the reciept but I cant remember if it they were doing the 3 year guarantee whan I bought it.
Any help appreciated.

12 months it says on my leaflet. But when my digital recorder broke I phoned them up and they were brilliant. They just give you a reference mumber and you take it back to the store. This was a week before the guarantee ran out but worth a try. Their Electrical Helpline number is 0845 300 7775. Good luck.0
