If you don't want to pay the latest Sony rip-off price for your PSP you could always import one from Hong Kong. If you get the Japanese version, that will play region 2 movies. There are no problems with games on foreign machines.
I ordered one last Saturday and selected the option to DHL it. The price came out at £159 but I was expecting to get VAT when it entered the country bumping it up to £180 (about the same as it used to be in UK). However, I don't seem to have been charged this yet so am keeping fingers crossed.

Hong Kong? I guess that could save some money, but *if* there's a problem what sort of warranty do you have? I'm interested in this but I wouldn't want to get burnt (on shipping fees back to the supplier, for example).0
