Leftover fondue cheese?

I made a fondue on saturday with a pack of fondue cheese, it's the readymade kind in a vacuum pouch that you just heat & serve. Now I have half a pack of fondue cheese left over; and I'm not sure what to do with it. It's got a slightly odd creamy crumbly texture, and it contains kirsch so I can't use it for sandwiches or in pasta, but there must be something I can do with it! Any ideas?

  • How about making it into a sauce with onion or leek, and then pouring it over a piece of fish to bake through in the oven?

That might be a really nice dinner on a cold evening - the fondue-ey taste could go well with the fish, all baked to golden-brown and bubbling! :)
Oh come on, don't be silly.

Thanks, that's a great idea! I don't have any fish in, but I've got some chicken fillets so I think I'll try it on those. Served with some salad and new potatoes, I think that's dinner taken care of!
