help with old debt

hi all,:cool:

just found out going to be paid out by me bank in hardship complaint have heard they will take any debt i have with them into consideration first and give me remainder, i am gratefull of the money but worried as i have other more urgent bills i would like to pay can anyone let me know of any experiences they may have had as i have 2 debts with them over 6 years old and dont know what will happen with it thanks

I would think that these debts would be time barred but it would be worth while talking to the national debtline or cab and check this (to be honest it isnt something that I know anything about - just adding this to bump and also in the hope that someone else who knows what they are talking about appears)

just bumping this up for you sorry not sure but I would like to know if debts ever get written off if so after many years,Just curious as one of my family got in to a lot of debt once & after so long he said they were crushed is this true
