defrost or straight in oven

can i put food i have cooked and frozen straight in the oven or do i need to defrost first ??:confused:

    Depends what you are putting in. Some foods are perfectly fine others state food must be fully defrosted before cooking. Tell us what you are looking at cooking and im sure you will be told the safe and unsafe foods.

    Well if you consider you can buy these as ready meals in supermarket and they go in from frozen then i can see a problem as long as you ensure the meat is piping hot before serving.

    I have taken a veggie cottage pie to MIL's today so she has not got to cook when she gets home from work, this has been placed in fridge though as she doesn't have a freezer to keep it stored in till she gets home.

    I'd put that in frozen.. it is already cooked so just reheating.. make sure it is thoroughly heated though before serving up!

    all still alive !!!! i did think about shop bought pies that arefrozen but was not sure about the process they use!!
  • i defrost homemade things in the fridge and then cook.............processed food says on the packet wether u need to defrost or not
