By the way ,anyone in Liverpool ,a new HB has opened yesterday in Penny lane retail park off Smithdown road!

I went today and bought some great bargains, although I won't confess how much I spent in total! I did buy quite a few birthday and xmas gifts and some really cheap food items. :T

Glad you mentioned original PS2 doesn't fit in it. My PS2 and XBox have no chance then, and there isn't much point in buying it just for my GameCube. Maybe that'd be too tall for it anyway.

got some lovely box/tubes for bottles of wine 59p each christmas designs and plain really nice looking combined with the tesco wine offers at the moment loads of birthday and christmas gifts sorted !

I always intend to just buy a toothbrush or some shower gel and always come out spending £40 -£60 but do I get some bargains and they do get used and even my mum phones and says "its your aunt Marys birthday have you got anything in your stash that i can have "

Went to H & B on East Lancs, Croxteth yesterday (were their Head Office is.)
They had Disney store ladies cotton nighties (think they were Winne the Pooh etc) with Totes socks reduced for £19.99 to £4.99. Would make good present.
Knitting scarf and bag sets for £2.99, good for those who want to start/practise knitting.

Got
Totes pink ladies non slip socks and hot water bottle with pink faux fur cover. In nice presentation box. (I always have cold feet and normally pay 4.99 just for socks.)
Ipod in car charger £1.99
Ipod nano iskin £0.99
Ipod nano case £0.99
mini box roses £0.39
Pet doctor set £4.99 - has doctors kit and dog to examine. Nice present for my 3 year old.
3 x Harrison Ford videos £2.99
Childs Ground Force gardening kit with gloves, pruners, etc £1.99 (putting that away for Easter for my 3 year old.)

Really is worth a visit to this H & B as it is were their main warehouse is and is the biggest and best stocked H & B I have ever been in.

been to home bargains in coulby newham today,

knitting kit----scarf in a bag, £1.99, includes needles, wool pattern very funky!

had some others, dog coats to knit, cushions etc. £2.99

In Wellington HB today there were some memo blocks - peacock design for 39 pence, ideal stocking filler. Also, there was a puppet 12" of the baddy from thunderbirds 3.99 (if anybody sees any of the thunderbirds family please let me know).

Again lots of bargains in H&B Droylsden,

Mctivities Moments Selection, three types 39p, they were £1.29 in Somerfield just a few doors away!!

Spotted both blue and pink First Leappads here

I regularly buy the garlic and ginger jars they're great value
